Approach

When choosing a dog trainer, it’s important to look for someone experienced, positive, and able to adopt a customized approach to training that carefully considers each dog’s temperament and behavior patterns.

From helping families introduce their dogs to their newborns, to assisting dogs walk down the aisle at their owner’s wedding, I’ve taught hundreds of dogs various behaviors and commands, as well as helped correct any problematic behaviors.

My goal is to teach dogs new commands by building up confidence and bonding with the dogs through play and consistency. Dogs are taught all commands with leash pressure first then slowly adding in a clear form of correction.

Typically an e-collar will be used, however, I am well-trained in other tools. E-collar stimulation is similar to that of a tense unit and meant to get the dog’s attention first but can be used as correction. Equipment possibly used consists of e-collar, 20ft Leash, Muzzle, Flat Collar, Place cot, crate, prong, slip chain.

Treats are not used however can be given outside of training pet owners request.

10-Day Board & Train is an intensive training program during which your dog will stay at the trainer’s house in a climate-controlled, safe environment and learn commands such as Come & Sit, Place, Heel, and on and off-leash obedience around distractions. You’ll get daily updates, a 2-hour meeting post-training, including verbal explanations and hands-on applications. This plan also includes two 1-hour refresher training lessons scheduled a week and a month post-training.
